Catching Up... and Working with Stabilizing Crystals and Stones

Well, it's been a month since my last post. Sorry about that... I've had some health flare ups that started with a horrendous food reaction that I'm still not sure of the cause. Plus the weather has been all over the place, which doesn't help me either. I'm hoping things will be stabilizing a bit. I started taking my vitamin D supplement again and it's making a HUGE difference. I had no idea just how much it helped, but now I do. Still dealing with some ongoing stomach issues. Hopefully that will settle soon too.

My most recent brainstorm has been about working with crystals and stones. I realized that the stones work as oscillators and so influence our energies. But if the energies are really out of balance it will take a lot more shifting and time to rebalance them. Throwing in energies that are really different might cause more instability or feeling worse for a while before feeling better. So maybe working with stabilizing and balancing crystals and stones first might be best, before working on shifting energies the way we want to. I think this might be especially important in cases of long-term and/or chronic illness.

I started working with some jaspers lately, which I've never really been drawn to working with before. As usual for me, I read about them in my crystal books and such, my typical way of researching before and while I'm working with something. With my own health issues, I've been fluctuating SO much over the past few months. This lead me to thinking about stability and stabilizing, which jaspers are great at. I realized that I've been trying to do some pretty dramatic energetic shifts with the crystals and stones I'm working with for my chronic health issues. With chronic fatigue and low energy issues being my primary and HUGE issues for me, I've been focusing on fairly high energy stones to try to compensate for that. While they have helped me, I think the dramatic difference in energy levels between my body and the stones I was trying to use was leading to big fluctuations, hence my ups and downs physically. I think what I needed to do was stabilize my energies, maybe re-balance them, and then work on shifting them with the higher energy stones.

I've started working with more jaspers and agates lately. They are what I've been drawn to a lot lately. I find that the stones I'm drawn to tend to be the ones I need at the time. I'm working with Rainforest Jasper and Leopardskin Jasper as well as Moss Agate, Tree Agate, and Blue Lace Agate. I've also been working a lot with Ametrine, Fluorite, Charoite, Lepidolite, and my KGM combo stone (Kyanite, Garnet, Mica). This combo seems to be making a difference with the Jaspers added in. I feel like things are stabilizing and my baseline of health is stabilizing and maybe even improving a bit.

I'll be looking at including a stabilizing stone in with my crystal healing work in the future. I feel like this was an important breakthrough in understanding and working with crystal healing for me.
